My episodes of Mercy!

Alright, I’m a little behind in getting these posted, but it’s finally time. I’ve just been so excited about tomorrow’s Apple event (come on iTablet!) that I forgot to post.

The first of tonight’s clips will be from an episode several weeks ago called “I Saw This Pig And I Thought Of You” watch the left side of the screen as the woman with the little girl talks to the nurses of Mercy Hospital. I will be walking behind her from left to right.

Such skill. Such emotion. OSCAR! OSCAR!

And that was just the tip of the iceberg for today’s episode of “Masterpiece Background Theatre” Our second clip comes a week later in the episode “We’re All Adults”

I play…let’s call him Timmy (they didn’t give me a name) the slow moving and inefficient dishwasher who toils away day after day in the hosptial cafeteria. All kidding aside, for being background, I actually get a lot of screentime in this episode. Watch the entire clip to see me mindlessly moving pots and pans back and forth while slightly out of focus.

Now that I’m so super famous I don’t know what to do. Maybe try to get a line next time?

I Found Myself on Law & Order

It’s been, like, 3 months since the episode aired, but I finally went on iTunes and bought the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode that I was in.

When I say that I was in it, that’s being quite generous. I was background and from the way the shoot went, I doubted I was in any of the shots at all. I paid the extra buck on iTunes to buy the HD version in case I was difficult to see. It’s a very minor scene in the story, and it’s towards the end, but sure enough…I was in it. You can barely see me, but you can see me.

What? You can’t see me? Well, look at the table with all the blonde women at it right there in the front. Now, see how there’s a gap between the leftmost and center women? Look up and you can see me way in the background. P.S. the girl with the red hair that’s even closer to the camera sitting at the table with that old man is my friend Jenny Paul. I’ve done a couple of extra jobs with her. She got a way better seat than me.

Here’s a closeup.

Look at how amazed I am at the magic show. That’s some damn fine acting, if I do say so myself.

I think I like SNL again

I, like most people, had given up on Saturday Night Live in the last few years. I have to say that a combination of the Tina Fey as Sarah Palin appearances, tons of Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig have really made me watch the show more. Kristen Wiig is kind of amazing. I am including a clip from this weekend’s episode. I know, it’s a little politically incorrect, but whatever. I have watched this clip multiple times and I laugh harder and harder each time.
