Cupid Episode on TV

Hey everyone. I had a really great rehearsal for Camp Rolling Hills and we got to run the whole show (more or less) twice. I’m excited for the reading on Friday night.

My grandpa asked about the episode of Cupid and when it will be airing. I will try to stay on top of this detail since I’ll actually be able to be seen on it. As of this time, there is no schedule for the episode. It was only ordered to series in August and while there are several episodes filmed, it has not begun airing. I feel like they are going to use the series as a mid-season replacement and It’s place in the primetime lineup will depend on whatever other series gets cancelled. I will keep you posted as soon as I find anything out so you can all see my episode.

My long day recap

You guys got to see my first couple of posts. I was downtown by 8am and sat in the holding room. We got our wardrobe checked and they gave me a fun little tie, because I didn’t have one. We continued to sit (doing background work involves a LOT of sitting around waiting) After a couple of hours, we went to set. We were playing high school students at a homecoming dance.

In the last photo in that gallery, if you click on it and make it big, you can see the stars shooting a scene in the far end of the gym.

The homecoming dance is a significant part of the episode from what I can tell, and we did a lot of shooting. The stars of Cupid, Bobby Carnivale and Sarah Paulson (who I LOVE…If you’ve never watched the movie, Down With Love, DO IT!!!!) were there for pretty much the whole day. I got to say hi to Sarah and both of them were very nice to the extras. I got plucked out of the group to do a little featured bit. There are 3 guys that are standing around eyeing up one of the characters in the show and we’ll get a little bit of screen time. Unlike the episode of Law & Order that I did, you’ll actually get to see me and identify me easily this time.

It was a very, very, very long day, but we plowed thru and I think it’ll look good. I do some dancing right behind the stars in what I think will be the last shot of the episode, so you might be able to see me on the wide shots.

Fun times!

Good Night

Well, as you who might be reading saw, I had a problem live blogging my lovely day at the set of ABC’s Cupid. I just got home. Yes folks, that means I had a 16 hour shoot. I am very tired and going to get some well deserved sleep. I tried to do some text updates, but I had no reception on the set.

Full story, pics and more tomorrow!
