Secret Project

I totally mentioned another project in that last post and then didn’t talk about it.

Actually, I can’t talk about it now either. It’s a secret creative project that I’ve been throwing about in my head for several months, but kind of put on the back burner. Since I’m bored every day, I thought this free time I have would be a great opportunity to be creative and bust out this sucker. I’m also in mourning for the loss of [title of show] and it’s spirit is urging me to finish this project.

‘Die, Vampire, Die!’

It might be a long time before I can really say what it is and give you guys any details, but know that I’m working on something super and when the time is right, you’ll hear about it.

I’ve set a personal goal of completing the first stage of it by October 31st. So, if I can meet that self-imposed deadline, it’ll be a happy Halloween indeed.

Ok, now off for pants and coffee

Save [title of show]

Hey all. If you are reading this blog, you most likely are familiar with one of the best Broadway shows of all time, [title of show]. If you are not familiar with it, GET WITH THE PICTURE!!!!!! I have terrible news to report. [title of show] has announced that it will be closing in October. The [tos]sers have been hard at work creating online petitions and whatnot to try to get the show extended. Check out http://www.titleofshow.com/blog to read about the efforts and to help save [title of show]. You can also click on this little logo Heidi Blickenstaff, Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen & Susan Blackwell - Title of Show (Original Cast Recording) to go to iTunes and buy the off-Broadway recording which is amazing. It was also announced this week that xanadu and Legally Blonde are also closing in the coming weeks. I don’t know what goes on in producers minds, but I think they should seriously reconsider the closing of [title of show] with the other big closings, they might actually get a bump in ticket sales. Less shows, same audience, more tickets.

I also found this clip on youtube and it seems to be an official video, so I feel like I can ethically include it. Heidi Blickenstaff singing “A Way Back To Then” This made me cry when I saw her sing it live.

Enjoy!
