Happy Mardi Gras everyone!

I’m super excited to announce that I’ll be singing with the always amazing Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra tonight for their big Mardi Gras bash at BB King’s in Times Square. Check out BroJo’s website for a coupon to get $10 off at the door if you happen to be in town. We’re going to be performing a fantastic new arrangement of Queen’s ‘Somebody To Love’ and tonight only our special guest soloist will be Broadway’s Stephanie Umoh.
Stephanie recently played Sarah in Ragtime and was breathtaking. She brings a little more funk tonight than she was allowed in Ragtime. We rehearsed with the entire band last night and I haven’t had more fun in a long time. If you can’t wait until tonight or won’t be able to make it, my friend Samia has a demo recording of the arrangement up on her site.
Samia will be bringing the roof of the Brooklyn Bowl down on Feb 27th when she takes the reigns for the arrangement at another show. If you’re in the area, I’d love to see you there.
I had to get an entirely white outfit to sing with the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra. I tried it on last night and I kind of look like the Michelin Man. I’ll try to snap a pic to post.
Toodles For now!
