Time for a break

Well, it’s time for a meal break. After sitting around for almost 3 hours, we were finally taken to the set. I got put into a scene where Drew Berrymore and Justin Long meet up at an airport. It was pretty hot and we were dressed in winter clothes. We did it over and over and over. I think I’m actually going to be seen in the scene. We’ll see.

I think they have sandwiches. The vultures will attack the catering table in a minute when they take off the wrapping. I’m trying to be good about the diet, bit I did have a scoop of gummi worms.

The day is already starting bad

As I write this in a subway car at 155th street, it is 5:00am. I have to be in midtown east at 5:30. The stupid MTA has both the A train and the 1 under service interruptions. How the hell are people uptown supposed to get to work on a Monday morning? I walked out of the door at 4:15 and didn’t take off on a train until 4:48. Unacceptable. Now I’m in a bad mood and will have to hop out of the train soon and get an expensive taxi the rest of the way to make it in time. Not to mention I’m trying to diet hardcore and will have to stare at a craft services table all day when 90% of my job is downtime in the holding area. I predict a long day.

Early Call Tomorrow!!!

I called the casting hotline to get my info about tomorrow’s shoot. Turns out that I need to meet the shuttle at 5:30 AM!!! That’s pretty damn early if you ask me. Not to mention that I’m meeting a shuttle at 36th street and 3rd Avenue. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the city and where I live, it’s not convenient. On a good day, when it’s during the day and trains are running on time and regularly, it’ll take me an hour to get there. This early in the morning, I’m going to have to allow myself plenty of extra time to not be late.

My sleeping schedule has been drifting away from normal again, kinda like when I was in Vegas. I’ve been going to sleep as late as 3 or 4 in the morning lately, so I’m just going to stay up all night. Hopefully after not sleeping and then working all day, I’ll get to bed at a reasonable time tomorrow. Time to clean the apartment a little and get some laundry done while I wait for my crazy early call time.
